Birds of a Feather – Pack of four blank Greetings Cards

This fabulous pack of four blank cards can be used for any occasion and not only do you save on postage when buying but on the price of the cards too! I often give packs of cards as presents as my relations love having a selection in the home.

The four individual designs are ‘Birds of a Feather’ such colourful decorative designs make a stunning pack of cards.

The first design is ‘Courting Cranes’ inspired by a documentary on Japan, where early morning these wonderful birds appear out of the hovering thick morning mist. Their courting dance is a spectacular scene to see. The Cranes are hand drawn in black and gold with a floral patterned white body. With a red ombre decorated foreground, oriental grasses disappear into the beige cream watery background where other cranes take flight.

The second design ‘Bouquet of Doves’ is a collage of pattern in tones of green surrounding two doves perched on dark green branches looking lovingly into each others eyes. From the branches grow white flowers which also adorn the birds. The pattern disappears into the distance where hand-drawn doves hover above. All the flowers are hand-painted and the background repeated pattern created in Illustrator.

The third design is the very fashionable ‘Pineapple Fern Flamingo’. Patterned with a hand-painted pink floral chintz these delicate slender legged birds stand in front of an antique water colour floral print on turquoise. Olive-gold palm shaped ferns created in Illustrator decorate the horizon and the distant background in layers, with small spaced coordinated pineapples.

The parrot is a favourite bird of mine, and is featured in this fourth pretty design. Using that elegant shape, my parrot is uniquely patterned with a traditional hand-painted fruit and floral chintz pattern on a soft pale blue background. Perched high on a branch with encircling palms, created in Illustrator, he overlooks a covering of pink water colour flowers with dark blue leaves. Butterflies flutter around this hazy pastel blue imaginative scene of nature.

All the cards are blank inside for your own message. Size 150 x 150 mm

Printed on quality card 280gsm with a satin finish. Supplied with a buff recycled envelopes.
