Happy Birthday Mum – Tropical Hibiscus Handmade Card

This tropical Hibiscus is quite impressive, I photographed it while on holiday, stunned by its size and colour.  Yes, we all all love our British garden flowers but a touch of the exotic is definitely in vogue at the moment and makes a really beautiful card. The flower head is handcut and mounted in relief on a circular bed of palm leaves drawn in Illustrator with some hand painted butterflies and the message ‘To a Special Mum’  The design is given a little sparkle with some pink and green glass gems.  Inside the card is a small heart saying ‘Happy Birthday’
