The Pheasant and the Partridge Card

The Pheasant and the Partridge really has that country feel as if you are on an early morning cross country walk.  I love painting birds and this proud male pheasant has the most beautiful plumage, so many gorgeous colours naturally melting into each other in the soft patterned feathers.  The scene I have created with hand-painted and photographic elements, brought together in Photoshop, is reminiscent of my childhood in Yorkshire with the dry stone walls, open grassland with wooden fences, and rough areas of stones with dry grasses. The hen phesant is nestling in the grasses as a partridge strolls into the scene. I think this blank card is perfect for many occasions even the man in your life or as a Christmas, Seasons Greetings or Thanksgiving card.
