The Clouded Leopard Card.

The Clouded Leopard is another vunerable species of the Wild Cat family.  These leopards are so beautiful and we shall never see them in the wild as they inhabit the forests at the foothills of South East Asia into China. I have drawn these amazing creatures with their distinctive patterned fur from photos taken on a visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, where you can see them in captivity; having a breeding programme will hopefully help to increase their numbers.  Surprisingly they are much smaller than the Panther-Leopard but are extraodinarily captivating and mysterious.  The habitat I have created in my design is a mix of media with hand-painted, photographic and images created in Illustrator on a misty olive ombre ground.  I love these leopards and hope you do too!
