Four Festive Turquoise Partridge Square Coasters

These special ‘Partridge in a Pear Tree’ cork coasters have a very decorative pattern, highlighted with glowing gradient tones of colour on black.  Designed initially for Christmas, these are also suitable for year round use.  These square coasters are perfect for protecting any surface; they do not stick to your glass and will absorb any heat from hot drinks.  They make a unique decorative, practical gift or home accessory.

My turquoise partridge is a design to conjure up the festive spirit.  The bright partridge roosts on a nest of ivy on a black ground, surrounded by fruit, autumn leaves and simple flower shapes in a turquoise frame. The warm autumn colours glow from a black background – another design inspired in colour and ambiance  from the Dutch ‘Old Masters’ still-life paintings.  Drawn in Illustrator, the all-over design has many gradient shades of turquoise, yellows, reds, oranges, blues and greens.  Digital printing has transformed the quality of colour and the intricate detail possible on such a practical natural, textured material.

These coasters are eco-friendly, hard wearing, made from high quality cork, with a smooth finish and rounded edges.  They are ideal for indoor use and around the house, measuring 105 x 105 in size and x 8mm in thickness.
