Big Cat Reserve Card

This striking design features some of my favourite wild animals from the big cat family. I love the quiet side of these ferocious hunters, when they lay around in the heat of the day sleeping and grooming in the wild undergrowth. Hand drawn and painted in water colour the majestic lion and the magnificent tiger appear as natural as possible, among the precisely detailed tropical foliage surroundings created in Illustrator. Set on an ombre red ground the scene grows from a black band of colour at the base, decorated with an ethnic patterned border of tribal circles set with budding leaves and long pale grasses growing upwards into the hot red ground fading into a white sky.
