What better way to say Happy Mother’s Day than an with an Afternoon Tea! I love decorative china and cups & saucers are a favourite feature for cards. This floral water-colour design comes from one of my hand-painted designs for fashion; the fresh colours and flowers have a perfect Spring-like feel. The cup, saucer and cup cake are drawn in Illustrator then parts are cut from the pattern in Photoshop, or shaded with ombre colours. The cup is hand-cut and set in relief on the saucer. The floral design creeps in on the corners to frame this pretty image and a little sparkle is added with gold and red glass gems.
The white card has a scalloped edge.
