Jay’s Nest of Feathers Card

The Blue Jay sybolises truth and faithfullness, needless to say it it keeps the same mate for life. They seem very clever birds and have plenty of patience, as I have witnessed as a determind male tried to break into a monkey nut perched on the apple tree in the garden.  Being larger than the average garden birds you cannot miss them with their fabulous plummage with a flash of blue.  I love drawing and painting feathers and this collection make a great nest for my hand-painted birds.  The male sits at the top and the female below on a melange feathered frame which fades into the black ground leaving a clear white center for the text  ‘It’s Your Birthday Have a Great Day!’
