This Desert World is an imaginery scene of sculptural succulent cactus and animals that survive and live in the hot sandy climes. A Coyote stands on one rock and a Ring Tailed Cat lays out on the cool stone of another. Across the front dashes a Roadrunner holding its prey as a Rattle Snake curls up camouflaged by the stones and texture of the sand. A mountain Lion peers out of its cave and cautious Jackrabbits appear from between the rocks. All the animals and some of the cactus are hand-painted. Other forms are drawn in illustrator, with pattern and texture they are all brought together in Photoshop. Across the bottom is a geometric pattern with spaced small cacti above. This scene showing wildlife of the desert is one of my Tropical Wonders of Nature collection of designs.
