Courting Cranes Card

This Beautiful Courting Cranes design is one of The Birds of a Feather collection of four cards. This subject was inspired by a documentary on Japan, where early morning these wonderful birds appear out of the hovering thick morning mist. Their courting dance is a spectacular scene to see. The Cranes are hand drawn in black and gold with a floral patterned white body. With a red ombre decorated foreground, oriental grasses disappear into the beige cream watery background where other cranes take flight.
