A Christmas Squirrel Garland – Handmade Christmas Card

We have many grey squirrels visiting our garden, due to a large walnut tree just over the fence, which is a fantastic source of food. I’ve often noticed how the grey squirrel is not completely grey as we presume, but has tones of a yellow ochre and a touch of that chestnut red brown. This Christmas setting, with autumnal leaves, acorns and berries is set against a darker sky full of snow. The squirrel is framed by the festive foliage while quietly feeding perched on a branch. Small glass gems and glitter highlights suggest the snow and add a bit of Christmas sparkle. A new addition to the Christmas Wildlife Garland collection.
