This fabulous blank decorative card is all hand painted. The parakeets are in a prominent place in their natural habitat set in a circle on a pretty water-colour floral of pink flowers.
This design is part of my 2026 desk calendar, where the tropical Parakeets fly in for August! They are now quite common in this country; they didn’t get here under their own steam but were introduced over the years by the pet trade. We have them in the University Parks in Oxford, and they can be spotted or heard, a distinctive screeching sound, in London and Kent.
This card is a blank card, perfect for all occasions, but if you wish it to say Happy Birthday a message inside as shown on the third image then it can be added , just put Happy Birthday in the box below.
