What better way to say Happy Mother’s Day than an with a cup of tea and a delicious cupcake! I love decorative china and cups & saucers are a favourite feature for cards. This stylised hand painted floral design makes a stunning china cup. Both the cup and saucer and the cup cake are drawn in Illustrator then the shapes are cut from the floral pattern in Photoshop, with parts shaded with softened ombre colours. The cup is hand-cut and set in relief on the saucer. The floral design creeps in on the corners to frame this pretty image and a little sparkle is added with pink glass gems.
