This captivatingly beautiful rose card is perfect to celebrate any Wedding Anniversary.
Photographing roses in my garden captures that freshness straight from nature onto a card. This abolutely stunning burdundy and cream striped rose really does illustrate the beauty of nature; the velvet texture and intensity of colour does not need to be enhanced, as it is the original colour when in full bloom. Each bloom is unique with a varity of stripes. Every year I look for new roses for the garden and I so pleased to have found this one at the Blenheim Palace Flower Show this year.
I love mixing hand-painted flora and fauna with photographic images it brings the design and them to life on paper. This perfect flower has been separated in Photoshop, printed, hand-cut, mounted in relief and placed centrally in an outer circle of hand painted leaves, white flowers and matching two tone pansies of red and white. The design is finished with a few deep pink and green glass gems for added sparkle. What a fantastic way to say ‘Happy Anniversary!’
