Two Pink Flower & Feather Round Cork Placemats

This set of rose pink flower and feather placemats is a best seller, especially at Christmas.  I have created this unique circular design using a strong central flower with layers of hand-painted striped feathers. There is an outside pink border which helps define the shape of the placemat.  The mixture of techniques and pattern work well on the cork surface and create an interesting, eye-catching design.  A practical and unique present or for use around the home.

The circular design works well with a strong central rose-pink flower drawn in Illustrator as its main focus.  Creating a ring around the flower are softer layers of hand-painted striped feathers and small flowers spaced at their tips.  The bold outer pink coloured border helps frame the design and outline the shape of the placemat.  These made ideal table mats, stands for tea, or coffee pots or pans.  They absorb the heat and are perfect for use on all surfaces.  I have also designed a coordinating set of matching coasters.

These mats are eco-friendly, hard wearing, made from 100% high quality cork, with a smooth finish and rounded edges.  They are ideal for indoor use, and measure 230 x 230 x 8mm in thickness.
