What better way to celebrate moving into a New Home than with Afternoon Tea with a cuppa and a cake!
I do love decorative china and cups & saucers are a favourite feature for cards and a great subject for anything to do with the home. This floral water-colour design comes from one of my hand-painted designs for fashion; the fresh colours and flowers have a perfect Spring-like feel. The cup, saucer and cup cake are drawn in Illustrator then parts are cut from the pattern in Photoshop, or shaded with ombre colours. The cup is hand-cut and set in relief on the saucer. The floral design creeps in on the corners to frame this pretty image and a little sparkle is added with gold and red glass gems. A special card to keep on show for a while for all your visitors to see!
This card can be personalised with two christian names on the front or the family name e.g ‘The Taylor Family’
